From December 7th to 18th, 2023, Li Qigang, the Managing Director of Chuji Logistics, accompanied a delegation from the Shanghai Hubei Chamber of Commerce to Africa for inspection. The inspection team was composed of entrepreneurs from the logistics industry branch of the Shanghai Hubei Chamber of Commerce, covering multiple fields such as international sea freight, bulk and large cargo transportation, port services, highway trunk transportation, warehousing logistics, automotive trade, clean energy, and cross-border e-commerce. The purpose of this inspection is to further promote exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa in areas such as economic and trade logistics, port logistics, and new energy technology, and to enhance mutual trust and friendship between the two companies.

The first stop of the inspection team was Guinea in Western Africa. On the day of arrival in the capital Conakry, the delegation was led by He Li, Secretary of the Changjiang Siyuan and Shanghai Provincial Chamber of Commerce. Li Zhiqiang, General Manager of COSCO Shipping Yifeng Company, accompanied the delegation to visit the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Guinea. Ambassador Huang Wei and Cai Liang received all members of the inspection team, and President Jiang Siyuan introduced the general situation of the Shanghai Hubei Chamber of Commerce, the members of the inspection team, and the status of the enterprises. Ambassador Huang Wei warmly welcomed the delegation to Guinea for investment and inspection, and gave an introduction to China Guinea relations, Guinea's investment environment, and culture. He hoped that entrepreneurs in Guinea could find investment directions that they were interested in. If there were any difficulties or needs, the embassy would be a strong support for enterprises to visit and go abroad.

The next day, accompanied by General Manager Li Zhiqiang, the inspection team boarded the Yifeng Company's Guinea transportation work boat "Guofeng" from Conakry to Bofa Province. During their stay in Bofa Province, they inspected Yifeng Company's offshore transfer platform, Jinbo Port Terminal, Chinalco Port, Chinalco Camp, Yifeng Bofa Camp, China International Company, State Power Investment Terminal, COSCO Shipping Port Guinea Company, Yifeng Weijia Camp, Shunda Aluminum Mine, and planted friendly "small leaf olive" saplings at Yifeng Bofa Base.

On December 11, 2023 local time, the inspection team arrived in the Kingdom of Morocco in northern Africa and went to Marrakesh and Casablanca respectively. Combining historical background and China Morocco relations, they visited and inspected the Yves Saint Laurent Garden, Basia Palace, Sleepless Square, and Hassan II Mosque to understand the situation of Casablanca port and commercial environment. 

On December 13, 2023 local time, the inspection team arrived at its final stop in Tanzania, East Africa. They visited Tanzania Maritime Academy, China Tanzania United Shipping Company, Tanzania Port Authority, DICT warehouse, Tanzania Hubei Chamber of Commerce, as well as Tarangure National Park, Ngoro Pass, and Tanzania Zambia Railway Station.

During this trip to Africa, Li Qigang, Chairman of Chuji Logistics, and members of the inspection team jointly discussed the development trends and future opportunities of China Africa economic and trade cooperation. He said that with the deepening of China's "the Belt and Road" initiative, trade between China and Africa will become more frequent, especially the China Africa maritime logistics industry will play a more important role in it. In addition, Chairman Li Qigang also had in-depth exchanges with local Hubei Chamber of Commerce entrepreneurs on topics such as cross-border e-commerce cooperation and clean energy development. We recognize that Chinese and African enterprises should strengthen cooperation, jointly address the challenges of global trade protectionism, promote economic globalization, China Africa economy, import and export cooperation, and develop towards a more complementary and inclusive direction. I believe that with the joint efforts of enterprises from both sides, logistics cooperation between China and Africa will continue to reach new heights.
